This page mistakenly stated: “YOUR CHANCE TO WIN A GUARANTEED MAIN EVENT FIRST PRIZE OF $500,000.” Please note that this statement is incorrect.

19 April - 1 May 2017
Following on from the highly successful Aussie Millions in January, Crown Poker is excited to announce the newest tournament series on the calendar – the 2017 Crown Poker Championship running from April 19th to May 1st.
The series kicks off with an Opening Event Accumulator commencing Wednesday April 19th at 6.10pm. At just $200 to enter and boasting a $100,000 Prize Pool Guarantee, it is sure to attract enormous fields across all four flights! This is the largest prizepool guarantee ever offered at Crown Poker outside of Aussie Millions – this event is guaranteed to get the CPC series off to a flying start!
Events 2 and 3 on the calendar feature two of the game’s most popular No Limit Hold’em formats – Deepstack and Terminator. The former offers both 30-minute levels and an enormous 25K start bank, while the Terminator rewards each “knockout” with $100 from the prizepool.
Fans of the mixed games have again been catered for with Event 4 $350 8-Game (2-7 Triple Draw, H.O.R.S.E, NLHE, PLO). This event is certain to attract a well-credentialed field as players attempt to master eight different poker disciplines simultaneously.
There’s no time for deep thinking ANZAC Day eve with a $175 Turbo No Limit Holdem event (15-minute levels and a 20-second shot clock) ensuring speedy action!
ANZAC Day plays host to the High Rollers with a “$5K Challenge” two-day event taking centre stage. Expect a strong interstate and international contingent for this one as some of the country’s poker elite take their shot at a prizepool expected to top $250,000. And if $5,000 is out of your poker budget, there’s a $300 No Limit Shot Clock Teams event 610pm that night.
The action heats up as Events 8 & 9 begin as both feature No Limit Hold’em in its hottest form – with a six player maximum. Priced at $550 and $1100 respectively, only the toughest survive in the short-handed format of the game.
Flight 1 of the Crown Poker Championship Main Event begins Friday April 28. Again featuring a ‘repechage’ format, the $1650 Main Event will allow players two opportunities to proceed to Day 2 to battle it out for an estimated 6-figure prize pool. With 12x 40 minute levels on Day 1 and 60 minute levels thereafter, value and extensive play time is again the absolute focus of this Main Event.
For those unsuccessful in their Main Event endeavours, Saturday night hosts a very special PLO event - Event 11 $550 Pot Limit Omaha “Triple Chance format”. 5k in chips up front and two more 5K banks provided at any time before the first break. This tournament will convert even the most hardened Hold’em devotees to PLO!
Sunday 30th April sees the return of Crown Poker’s own $175 “Hyper Turbo 10/10/10”. Recently featured in the Aussie Millions, this event encourages fast-paced action with a 10k start bank, 10 minute levels and 10 seconds to act - surely not a tournament for those lacking courage! Despite the fast pace, the dedicated structure contains numerous new smaller level increments to ensure that tournament play is maximised!
Rounding out the series is a $250 Pot Limit Omaha HiLo event 610pm Sunday night. With a groundswell of support for more Freezeout events, the series concludes Mon 1st May with a $400 Freezeout tournament alongside the Main Event’s third and final day.
With official Championship events starting from as little as $175 and Main Event satellites starting from $90, the 2017 Crown Poker Championship is an event that simply cannot be missed!
